Wings Of Fate Poem

View Content List

I stare blankly at my bedroom wall

Watching time pass by, second by second

Everyone is acting the same

Purely automatic, hounded percent synthetic

Like as if we read a list of what society expects

How am I supposed to live like this?

This is not me, I will not be nobody’s puppet or fantasy

This is my life, I step away from the path the world gave me

I spread my wings, the wings of fate

A fate that I’ll decide

I am learning what it means to be me, to live free

There is no path fixed ahead, each step molds and carves this trail
