Live Now Poem

The sun lit to reveal a band new day

Straight from the press

The birds sing like they ought to

The lighting was out of this would

Only movies show such hopes

While the day was young, I sang

A beautiful melody in shades of green with hints of pink

These rolling hills have me in love

I sat and think of ways to make the most of the day gifted to me

I spin and feel the warmth on my skin

In this paradise, I will build something nice

I sing to the world that once stood against me

If you only live once, I want to live now
